What it does
Turn your company's documents into a generative AI FAQ assistant, no coding required. Upload files with your business knowledge and the extension creates an assistant that understands questions in natural language and answers using only that content, with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) over the uploaded documents.
Key features
- Build your knowledge base by uploading documents in PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TXT, and CSV formats, with file listing and deletion managed directly within the extension.
- Define the assistant's identity: its name, the company or product name, and a tone profile (friendly, fun, or technical).
- Restrict the context with additional guidelines so the bot avoids unwanted topics, and set a default response for questions outside the knowledge base.
- Generate answers from your document content, with an indication of which file was used for each response.
- Test the assistant in a chat tab inside the extension, with the option to display the source document for each answer.
- Integrate with the Blip Builder through a block that receives the question and returns the answer in a flow variable.
How it works
- Activate the extension in the portal: Blip AI credentials are linked automatically and a FAQ-type assistant is created.
- In the Knowledge base tab, upload your company's documents.
- Configure the assistant with a name, company, tone profile, and response guidelines.
- In the Integrating with the builder tab, add the block to your flow and display the value of the response variable.
